Seeking power is not necessarily bad. What matters is whether someone craves the freedom to reap selfish rewards or feels a duty to shoulder social responsibility.In my experience, those who "crave the freedom to reap selfish rewards" tend to be those who work harder to gain power.
I think the police/military types fall into this group but we give them power in the name of social responsibility and then they tend to use that power to fuck with people just because they can?
